Generation X Paranormal
Generation X Paranormal is where curiosity meets the unexplained, and the paranormal gets real. Hosted by Logan and Nicole Mathias, this show blends strange encounters, expert interviews, and personal investigations with the nostalgic lens of Generation X.
But while we’re proudly Gen X, this podcast is for everyone who’s ever been curious about the unknown. Whether you grew up with cassette tapes and payphones or podcasts and smart homes—you’re welcome here. We believe the paranormal isn’t just for experts or thrill-seekers. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt that chill, asked “what if?”, or just wants to hear a good ghost story.
We explore haunted places, UFO encounters, cryptid lore, and the deeply human experiences behind them—all with humor, empathy, and an honest, no-gimmicks approach.
No gatekeeping. No fear-mongering. Just real talk about the weird stuff that connects us all.

This week, on Generation X Paranormal.
They're going to be staying in lovely hotels, they're going to be staying in a castle the night before the leave to come back to the States.
We're going to be taking in two Halloween parades.
Oh, that's so cool.
Yeah, we're going to be doing four or five investigations.
Wow.
We're going to go to a cave system.
We're doing a lot of things, and I go, there's a few secret places I want to bring them as well.
That's not on the itinerary.
Awesome.
Well, hey everybody, welcome back.
Hey everybody.
We're Generation X Paranormal, I'm Logan.
And I'm Nicole.
Hey, listen guys, no big secret here.
Podcasts are usually done ahead of schedule, and usually there's several months out, for us at least anyway, it's been that way.
But we're recording this on a Monday, and it's coming out on a Friday for a very important reason.
And that reason is to talk to Mia Hernon McEvilley.
And if you don't know who she is, she's amazing, but there's some events coming up, and we're going to talk about that.
But what can you tell us about May?
So May is the Director of Tourism and Operations for Secret Ireland Tours.
Yeah.
So, I'm just going to read what is on their website, and we'll get to that when we talk to her.
Absolutely.
So Secret Ireland Tours is an authentic, 100% Irish-owned and operated tour company offering packages for the single traveler or a group up to 24.
We bring you to world-renowned venues but also magical, mystical places known only to the locals.
You're on the threshold of your dreams.
Book with us today.
And with some of those, there are Paranormal Tours, which is why we have her on today.
Yeah, we're excited.
And there's also a special reason which we'll get to.
Yes, there's a very special reason.
So, yeah, let's talk to May.
Let's talk to May.
Yeah.
Well, hey May, welcome to Generation X Paranormal.
I am delighted to be joining you guys.
It's, you know, something I've been looking forward to kind of chatting with you for a long time.
That's awesome.
That's us as well.
You know, we obviously, there's a very big reason why we're definitely talking, not just to meet, of course, but some of the great tour stuff and events that you have coming up.
But we also want to make sure that our audience knows that there's a whole lot more than the tours and everything that you have going on.
But can you kind of give our audience a little bit of a background from about you?
Well, I'm not a very interesting person, really.
We'll go back.
I was born on this day.
I grew up on this day.
I spent three hours talking about my birth.
I'm from a small little village in Sligo, Ireland.
It's the northwest of Ireland.
I like to say that it's the best part of Ireland, but a beautiful, beautiful part of the country.
It's a very old part of the country.
They say that the first settlers actually to Ireland arrived in Sligo, and there's all neolithic sites.
I mean, the place is rich in neolithic sites.
To actually prove that, Sligo, the Irish word for it is Sligo, and the actual translation of that is called Shelley Place.
And that's why the people landed, because it was, it looked to be abundant with food.
So Sligo itself is very, very rich in neolithic sites, and the whole country is a gorgeous place to visit.
But why I do the tours and why I bring people over there is, I'm a traditional singer.
I sing very old ancient songs, and most of them I would sing without any compliment.
When I moved over to the States, I moved over here about 11 years ago, nearly 12 years ago, and myself and my husband were performing in different states, like festivals and concerts, and I would teach traditional singing.
I would stand up and I would talk about the history of the songs and where they're from, and I'd explain the area and the whole works.
People started coming up at the end of the concert.
When it's said to you once or twice, you don't take any heed.
But when it's said to you 30 times, it's the exact same sentence.
Did you ever think about putting a group together and bringing them over to Ireland to show them all these great places you talk about?
It's cool.
And I realized, okay, I'm being told something here.
Yeah.
We are very aware of that feeling.
Yes.
That is absolutely the reason why we even have a show, is we just, you know, much like yourselves, we were just normal people, and then, you know, long story short, we have a passion.
We have a passion, and then, and then you go into it, and you're like, oh my gosh, I really enjoy this, you know?
Yeah, because I would never have thought, I would never have thought to do, even though, having said that, my village, I would go to the nearest town, which is, my village is Gurt Sheen, and I kind of tend to do these things.
Gurt Sheen in Irish is Gurt Teen, and it actually means wide open meadow.
Oh, beautiful.
And then Boyle was the town that we used to go to, and Boyle translated into Irish as Maanishthr na BĂşilea, but it means the town of the bell.
There's a very old 12th century Cistercian abbey there.
That was so cool.
So I used to go there now and again, and I'd watch these buses pulling up to this amazing ruin, amazing building, and 50 people had jumped out of the bus and they'd take photographs, and then they'd jump back in again.
And I used to think, what in the name of God are you thinking?
You're not even going in, you're not even learning the history, you're not learning the local folklore, nothing.
You're not getting a sense of the place at all.
So I remember when I moved over here, you know, the whole thing kind of blends in and you realize you're being pushed to go a certain direction and you don't even realize it at the time.
But I talk to people and they say, oh my gosh, I was in Ireland.
I went over on vacation.
I'd say, where did you go?
Oh, well, I went on around us.
What was your favorite place?
Well, I don't really know.
I couldn't remember the names of any of the places.
So basically they go there, but they don't have an experience.
They don't really get to.
Yeah, exactly.
And they spent a lot of money.
Yes.
Absolutely.
And a lot of folks that may not know, getting to Ireland is a little more difficult than maybe hopping on a flight, maybe going to like London or somewhere like that.
I think there's only maybe one state that you see either New York or Chicago that you fly out of, that you can get to Dublin, right?
Is that correct?
Well, actually, there's a lot now.
You can go from, yeah, there's a lot of state, there's a lot of places that you would have to get a connection flight to, but there's a lot of direct flights, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Newark, New York.
Okay, yeah, I knew about that.
But, you know, there's a lot of places that you would actually have to get a connection, a connecting flight.
Right.
In fact, I think if I remember last, I thought the, I think Aer Lingus was the only one I think that was going, I think from New York or was it Chicago?
I can't remember now.
Chicago, yeah.
Now there's a direct flight from Cleveland as well.
Oh, wow.
They best quite a bit.
No kidding.
Yeah.
And Aer Lingus actually give great, great prices from, from Cleveland.
So it's not as hard as it used to be, to be honest with you.
Yeah.
That's good.
That's good.
Yeah.
But I used to see these people jumping on, taking photographs and jumping in again.
And, you know, in 10 years time, they'd look at this photograph of this amazing building, and they wouldn't have any idea.
Any idea.
Yeah.
That's why we have not made it over there, because I told him, I said, when I go to Ireland, I want to spend like at least a month, because I want to see everything, I want to take my time.
I don't want to go back and forth in a week.
Yeah.
It's not worth it to me to do that.
And he's like, we can't do it for a month.
So I got to wait until I can do it for a month.
Yeah.
I see people going for a week, and they think that they can cover the whole country.
Oh, yeah.
You can, but you don't see anything.
Right.
You know, like my tours, you'd have maybe two to three venues a day, but you get to spend time in them.
Right.
If you want to investigate, we organize it that you spend a lot more time in them.
For sure.
That's awesome.
And again, as I said in other podcasts, you can't throw a stone in Ireland, but you'll hit a ghost.
That I believe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't doubt that for one second, which is honestly, it's the greatest transition into getting in to one of the main reasons we're bringing you on.
Because long story short, people who don't do podcasts or anything like that, normally shows are done months ahead and they, in fact, I think the next few shows we had, we did done months ago.
But we're recording this on a Monday and releasing it on a Friday for a very important reason.
Very important reason.
Yeah.
And May, if you can go ahead and jump in and tell us what you got going on.
Well, I'll tell you what's going on.
I'm sure most people out there and most people in the paranormal world would know of Chris Fleming.
He's a very well-known paranormal investigator.
He's a psychic medium.
He's an all-around nice guy.
And he is not well at the moment.
He's undergoing treatment.
And for anyone out there who prays, please stop and say a prayer for him or send him healing energy or send him good vibes or whatever you do.
But he needs our, you know, he needs our strength to be behind him now.
But Chris contacted me a few months ago and he wanted to do a tour in October because he had so many people that he had kind of talked to and they wanted to go with them.
So I created the itinerary and we put it up and in eight hours, it was sold out.
We know.
I remember we looked and I was like, the tickets are already gone.
It could have been a few hours.
And you know, we were all excited about it and we have some amazing surprises.
We have some surprise investigation.
Actually, we have about surprise foreign investigations that people don't know about yet.
And we were so excited about this.
And there's other stuff that we had planned, but it was all about his followers and his fans.
And we had worked so hard to put this thing together.
And Chris was so, I mean, he said to me one day there a few weeks ago, he says, I'm living for this tour.
I'm living for it.
And unfortunately, at the moment, he cannot attend now.
We know that, but hopefully we have one in June and he will be attending that one.
We're all making that happen in Ireland.
That's right.
We're putting that out in the ether.
We're putting that out in the ether.
So because of the fact that he is not attending now, some people didn't want to go, so people canceled.
But in fair play to Dave Schrader, Dave is a very good friend of Chris's and Dave has stepped up massively.
Dave is going to take his place.
That means Dave is canceling stuff.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
He's fantastic.
He has put out the word, we need a few seats sold, who wants to come with me?
Within a few hours, four people signed up.
That's awesome.
We only have two places available, but it will be lovely for Chris's sake to honor him, to get the tour full again.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Hopefully, we'll make sure those two seats are taken as soon as possible.
Yeah.
Any way we can help you that.
If you contact me, we'll organize it.
We'll get them on the thing.
For sure.
Great.
It's going to be, we really worked hard to make it very, very special.
Because Chris doesn't do things by half.
He wants it all.
For sure.
I'm the same type.
If somebody is paying money to get something, they're going to get value from it.
I pride myself in offering very affordable tours.
Yeah.
They're going to be staying in lovely hotels.
They're going to be staying in a castle the night before the leave to come back to the States.
We're going to be taking in two Halloween parades.
Oh, that's so cool.
Yeah.
We're going to be doing four or five investigations.
Wow.
We're going to go to a cave system.
We're doing a lot of things.
There's a few secret places I want to bring them as well.
That's not on the itinerary.
Awesome.
It's always best when you have something that...
I know.
They have no idea what it's going to be.
That's amazing.
It was supposed to be a surprise.
It was supposed to be a surprise.
Ryan O'Neill from Scotland was going to come over and spend three days with us.
The gang didn't know about it, but Chris let it slip.
Yeah.
We know Ryan.
We know Ryan.
We've had him on the show.
Ryan is coming over for three days to hang out with the gang.
That's awesome.
That's going to be in our secret location.
Well, I can vouch for this in our audience.
We'll know this for sure, but those who are not as familiar with us or anyone else.
Ryan, very infamous was on, well, of course out in Ireland and in Scotland.
It's called Spooked Ireland and Spooked Scotland.
Here in the States, it was Haunted Ireland and Haunted Scotland.
Like I said, we had him on the show and we talked to him.
First of all, the glowing things he says about Chris is just, we feel like we know him because of that.
Which is one of the reasons we were so compelled to get involved.
But anybody who gets to join that, Ryan's energy is just infectious.
It's so infectious.
In fact, our show, we had to turn it into two because we talked and talked and talked.
It's funny when we contacted him recently, we said, God, it could have been four, six hour long conversation if we had let it.
I've been in contact with Ryan a few times as well, and we've gone back and forth and back and forth.
I can see that he's a very amenable kind of a character, that's very easy to get on with.
I'm looking forward to meeting him actually.
Yeah, you'll love him.
He's great.
He is definitely one of those what you see is what you get.
He's a free spirit.
In fact, total transparency.
We were literally watching one of his live feeds shortly before we came on camera.
What a joy.
Your guys are going to have a blast with him there.
We're going to do it in honor of Chris.
We're going to zoom him in as often as we can.
That's awesome.
I'm so glad to hear that.
As often as we can that he can have a chat with the gang.
He'll be as much a part of it as I can possibly make it happen.
That's the only way I can say it.
As long as he's up for it and we're not tiring him out too much because as people know, he's taking chemo, he's taking intensive chemo, and he's feeling very tired at the moment.
That makes perfect sense.
Something he might be well able to zoom in in October.
Hopefully, he'll be off his treatment at that stage.
So he might be well able to join us through Zoom, different venues, chat with the people and be part of it some way along the line.
That's so great to hear that.
I know he's really going to miss not being able to come.
For sure.
It's killing him.
Honestly, Nicole, it's killing him.
It is killing him not to be able to come.
Sure.
That's devastating.
Much part of it as we can possibly make it happen.
But giving him a target, something to shoot for that.
It's always so imperative to when you're, I've got a history with that and it is great to have something propelling you forward.
Yeah, you have to think positive.
You've got a choice because I've got a history with it as well.
Yeah.
We're all in the one group together.
Yes, we are.
It's a group nobody wanted to be in and it's a group that so many of us are in.
But you've got it.
It comes down to it.
You've got a choice.
You give up or you fight.
Exactly.
You give up or you fight.
Even the nurses, when I go in every three weeks to get chemo and they would say to me, it has been studied.
The people who fight, they actually survive it.
A lot of people were negative at the beginning and they stay negative.
They don't make it.
Right.
Intention is everything.
I mean, it really is.
It's your mind.
It's your brain.
Your mind is an amazing thing.
And if you program it properly, I was saying to Chris, I says, you talk to your body and you tell it, you give it permission to heal itself and you give it permission to get the chemo into your body and give your body permission to let that chemo go wherever it's supposed to go.
And then you look at the chemo bag with the brown plastic over it, and you tell it, you do your bloody job.
That's right.
And you kick ass.
If I'm putting you in me, you better do what you're supposed to do.
Exactly.
And it's all psychological.
It's all psychological.
Absolutely.
And he's got so many people behind him.
We've been watching, there's so many positive things for him, and Dave Schrader has been great.
Oh, it's fantastic.
Dave has been out on his own.
He's been in constant contact with me.
He's put posts up on Facebook.
He's reached out to his people.
I mean, we were in a bit of trouble if he hadn't come up with those few people to book, and we just now need two more, which will happen.
Yeah, it absolutely will happen.
First of all, if you're into the Paranormal, Dave Schrader should just be.
I've always said that if there was a Mount Rushmore of Paranormal people, which would be really cool to see by the way.
But if there was, Dave Schrader is there.
He's definitely one of them.
Yeah.
I follow him on all the socials and everything, and I'll comment and things.
He's always so incredibly gracious.
He is also, I think, we haven't had the chance to meet Dave, and we're hoping someday that'll change.
But he's always been like how Ryan is, the way we see him is what you see is what you get.
He's a good person.
He's an everyday guy.
He seems like somebody you can go investigating with, and then have a beer and still have a good time.
But folks, if you're going to go out there, I couldn't imagine having Chris would have been fantastic.
And you guys may even have a little bit of Chris in this.
Right.
But if there's anybody to step up to the plate, it's like having Babe Ruth step up for you at bat, having Dave Schrader.
To take over.
Yeah.
I mean, if people don't know he is-
And it was a very, very short notice.
Yeah.
Yeah, absolutely.
And he's probably so busy, you know.
We know he's busy.
Months ahead, he's got things scheduled, but anybody that doesn't necessarily know him right off the bat, if you've ever seen Holzer Files, he's got an amazing podcast, the Paranormal 60.
Gosh, there's a lot of stuff.
So many things.
I can't even think of all the different things Dave's involved with, but he's truly an ambassador and I call him that all the time.
He's an ambassador of the paranormal.
So again, couldn't stress it enough, couldn't be in any better hands.
So can I give out if anyone wants to look it up and see what it's all about?
Please.
If they go to secretirelandtoursllc.com and then they click the spooky tab, because I do all sorts of tours.
I do whatever, you know?
I mean, spooky tab and then tours 2025.
Now, I know that we're doing 24, but I actually have Chris in that.
Just click that tours 2025, and you'll see straight away at the very top, you'll see Chris's picture and you'll see a link, and it brings them into the web page.
From there, you can see where you're going.
There's an interactive map.
There's a button then to click to book your flight, or not your flight, but book your tour, and it brings you into a WeTravel platform, a payment platform, and it brings you into the itinerary, the whole works.
And as I said, there's some stuff that is not on the itinerary that we will be doing.
That's awesome.
Does that also have, and maybe we'll even put it on the episode so they can see it, but we'll make sure and put all the links to everything.
Yeah, links for sure.
Yeah, I'll send you the link for the WeTravel.
Okay.
And do they book straight through there for flight, or do they need to do that separately?
No, the flight is separate.
I don't deal with the flight at all, because, you know, depending on where they come from, and some people have points for their airlines, and some people like to fly on some airlines and not on others, and, you know, so I was going to do, and then I thought, no, I'm not, I'm not going to bother with flights.
People can deal with their own flights.
So that would be the thing.
If they're booking, they'd need to book fairly fast, because they'd have to start looking at flights now.
Yeah.
Well, and passport, too.
If people don't have a passport, do you still need that to go to Ireland?
Oh, yes, you do.
If they needed a passport at this stage, they might not get home quick.
They might be too late.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, if you've got a passport, please, we're going to put the links in and everything, too.
Go.
You got two seats.
I mean, guys, it's not...
We could take three if it was really, if people really wanted to do it, but again, I don't like having big crowds.
We're kind of 25, 26 people.
Yeah, that's a lot.
And that's a lot to manage.
That's a good amount, actually.
And you always worry about a little bit, want to make sure everybody has a great experience.
And as it get, those crowds get bigger and bigger.
Yeah, I don't want to do big tours because it's more intimate when you have a smaller group.
Absolutely, absolutely.
Absolutely amazing.
Yeah.
Now, those are the spooky tours.
How many do you have scheduled next year?
Just so far, the one I think I have probably 10 spooky ones.
I have Michelle Ruse is an ambassador.
Oh, yeah.
Awesome.
Michelle is fantastic.
Deette Rene, she's an ambassador.
Patty Negri.
Patty was with me in 22.
Before I got sick, Patty was with me.
We had a great tour.
Yeah.
I actually managed to find Patty speechless.
Would you believe it?
Yes.
Wow.
I brought them up to the Giant's Causeway.
We're walking up and it's amazing.
I mean, this place is just breathtaking.
It's amazing.
So I had my little phone and camera and I said, well, Patty, what do you think?
She's looking out at the rocks and she's, I'm speechless.
Wow.
I said, what?
That's amazing.
It's not easy to make me speechless.
She said, but this is mind-blowing.
She says, this is amazing.
Folks who may not know who she is, she's on a lot of things, but one of the things that some folks may know her from are from Ghost Adventures.
And she's, if you're catching her speechless, just watch an episode with her in it to do that.
We're going in October, actually, as well, to a very special farm.
It's a fairy farm.
Pat Noon, he is the owner of this farm.
And he has a fairy fort on his farm and fairy portal.
And he has a cairn, which is an underground passage stone which dates back maybe five, 6,000 years.
He has a stand-in stone, he has a fertility stone, and he's actually a healer as well.
Both Patty and myself and a lot of the group had experiences on that farm as well.
So we're doing that.
We're doing Lep Castle.
They're doing an investigation of Lep Castle.
I know.
I know, Logan.
So cool.
And then this is killing both of us.
Oh, gosh, that if there was a bucket list place, that is, yeah, that's definitely the bucket list.
We're doing an investigation at Charleville Castle as well.
Yeah.
Well, you need to get tickets for this.
If you can, you need to do it.
Yeah.
And then that's not including the investigations we have in secret places that are amazing.
Oh, I don't doubt.
No doubt.
I can't name, I can't mention it, you know, because it's just, I mean, I'm just looking forward to driving the bus.
I won't be driving the bus.
I have a bus driver, Keith.
He's brilliant.
We'd be bringing them to this place and I just want to see their face.
That's awesome.
And you know, what's funny is, you know, with having seen so many things, paranormal and ghosts and all the stuff that we cover, there are very few, I guess, experiences or stories that are just kind of like, wow.
There's always the, yeah, but this, and there's a, yeah, but this in Ireland, and it's that school that had the lockers that swing back.
We're visiting it.
Ah, awesome.
We're going.
That's mind-blowing.
We're going there, we're going there.
That is awesome.
We had a very long, intense discussion with Chris, or with Chris, and so, yeah, with Ryan, and some of the stuff he and Chris ran into out there, so.
We're visiting that, yeah.
Guys, guys, you've got to go to this stuff.
It's just amazing.
Yeah, we're gonna have to make it out there for at least one of them.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
And if anyone is into healing, I have an amazing tour next August.
I have an ambassador, her name is called Mary Jane Brigger.
She's from, she actually has a healing center in Salem, in Ohio.
Oh, okay.
But I have a very long time friend in County Kerry who is a druid.
Oh, that's so cool.
And she is a psychic medium.
She's a doctor, Dr.
Rachel Sosek Brennan.
She is, she studied Irish mythology and Irish history and the whole works.
I mean, the girl, she's from Brittany, but she lives in County Kerry, which is a beautiful part of the country.
And she has a healing center.
So this, this tour will be people who are interested in healing and learning about healing through music, through herbs, through, or as you say here, herbs.
Herbs.
We live off the H.
Yeah, yeah.
Herbs and, you know, the land, the trees, she's doing all sorts of workshops.
And of course we'll be doing tour days as well.
We, I'll be bringing them around the beautiful parts of the country.
And there'll be music and there'll be healing sessions as well.
So people might, it's during the August, Lunasa, it's during that time.
And of course she'll invoke all of the magic of the land during that time as well.
And she's an amazing person.
She's also a multi instrumentalist and she's also a multilingualist.
So that's another one.
And then we have a Bram Stalker's Ireland.
Oh, get out of here.
That's so cool.
Neil Storie is our ambassador for that.
And actually Bram Stalker's grandparents are buried in Sligo.
Really?
And yes, and the cholera epidemic in Sligo is actually what inspired him to write Dracula.
Yeah.
Wasn't Rob told us that?
Yeah, he did.
Rob Guttrow?
No, Guttrow.
He's a medium that traveled to Ireland.
He wrote a book about his experiences there.
Yeah, that is it.
And he went to Christ Church and I guess there was a lot to do with.
And Dublin Castle, he worked in Dublin Castle, Bram Stalker as a clerk.
Yeah.
Gosh, that's amazing.
Yeah, and I had no idea that there was a tie to Ireland.
No, I didn't either.
You always think just Transylvania, right?
You talk about Dracula.
That's actually all made up.
Yeah.
But he grew up in Dublin.
He was born in Dublin.
He went to school in Dublin, but his parents are his.
Yeah, one of his parents would have been the Thornleys from Sligo.
It's amazing.
And Neil actually came over and I brought him to the church graveyard, where he got to see the grandparents grave.
That's so cool.
So we'll be doing that.
We'll be in that tour.
We'll be going to all the relevant places in Dublin.
And we're taking in an awful lot more.
It's not just all about Bram Stoker.
It'll be a lot more about Ireland.
But then you hit Sligo and you'll see all of the places that he was associated with in Sligo as well.
But if you're a Bram Stoker fan, there's one for you.
Yes.
Rob Thompson is an ambassador with us.
Who else is there?
Oh, Rick McCollum from Hollywood.
Hollywood.
Oh, yeah.
He's an ambassador.
Vanessa Hoagel is another ambassador.
We're doing Northern Ireland and Scotland with her.
Oh, boy.
Wow.
Yeah.
I wonder, am I forgetting anybody?
God, I hope I'm not forgetting anybody.
If I do, please.
It's it's chemo fog.
I've been putting on chemo fog.
Understood.
And honestly, with all the links we're going to put in there, they're going to find it.
Yeah, they're going to find out everybody.
On the website anyhow, they will see Spooky Tours and they'll see the whole list.
They'll see the whole list.
That is amazing.
We just need to go to Ireland for like a year and do all of these tours.
Yeah, you know, they sound amazing.
They're just moved there for a while.
You know, I'm OK with that.
I mean, I've said that since I was a little kid.
Yeah, for sure.
My grandson, he's only well, he'd be six this is this month, actually.
And they lived in Randolph, New Jersey.
Oh, they just moved back to Ireland.
Did they?
Three weeks ago.
Oh, I know.
But anyhow, you know, something I'm kind of even though I'm heartbroken, my son, Doonal, he sent me a video.
Connor was out picking blackberries in the fields.
Oh, that's so cute.
I used to do that with the kids.
And then today, he sent me a video of him licking an ice cream cone and walking to the beach.
And I thought, yeah, you know, something, I'm glad he's there and he's having a...
Yes.
You know.
Getting that experience that you got to have.
Yeah, for sure.
And the funny thing is even when he was two, three, when he was able to talk, he always wanted to go to...
He wanted Ireland, Ireland, Ireland.
And then when he started going to school, his teacher came out to Lisa, his mother, one day, and she said, is Connor, was Connor born in Ireland?
And Lisa said, no, he was born here.
Well, he's telling everybody he was born in Ireland and that he's Irish.
Look at that, it's awesome.
Yeah, that's amazing.
His heart was born there.
I think he's an old soul and I think that he was there before.
Yeah, I don't doubt that.
Because when you see him in Ireland, he's a different child.
That doesn't surprise me in the least.
I was actually thinking that as well.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's amazing.
It's honestly how I feel.
Yeah, she does.
I'm afraid to take her there, honestly, because I'll never get her back.
I'm afraid that I won't leave.
Yeah.
They'll have to kick me out.
Well, isn't it funny though, Nicole, the amount of people who I have brought over to Ireland, and people would say, I wonder how much would it be to live here?
How much would it be to buy a house here?
Some of them have actually actively looked into buying houses over there.
Well, you feel that tie.
You just, your heart feels the tie.
We've got an old saying at home, Irish blood always goes home.
Maybe you'll be the person that will bring your Irish blood home.
Look at that.
I hope.
That's a subtitle for this episode.
I love that.
Irish blood always goes home.
It's been an honor to have you here.
Gosh.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for coming on.
I totally enjoyed it and thank you so much for having me.
I talk too much, don't I?
I'm sorry.
No.
Honestly, matter of fact, let's plan on having you back because we want to make sure that we have these things come up and if Chris is able to make it, some of those, let's put a pin in it and make sure that we come back.
We love talking to you.
Load love to do it and I'd love to make it happen in June for him.
It would be fantastic if we could make it happen in October.
He just won't be able to be with us physically.
Right.
Make it happen in June from where he will be.
Yeah.
He will be with us in June.
His comeback episode.
That'll be great.
I could see it now, comeback episode.
I like that.
It's the perfect.
Well, May, thank you so much.
Thank you.
We look forward to speaking to you again.
Guys, go buy those two seats.
They're not going to be there forever.
No, they're not.
Yeah.
So go quick.
Thanks very much and thank to all your listeners for hanging on this long.
Listen to this Irish lunatic woman talking.
They listen to this lunatic and this lunatic for much longer than that.
So they need a new voice.
Yeah, that's right.
All right, Mia.
Well, thank you so much and we'll look forward to seeing you soon.
Thank you guys.
That was fun.
It was so much fun.
May is cool.
Yeah, very, very cool.
Yeah.
And you know, there's look, having to do this episode out of turn, there's a reason for it and it's not, unfortunately, it's not the greatest reason in the world.
We've obviously we did our own video on it and we've got some, some really, really, I don't want to get emotional, but it pulls at our heartstrings what's going on with Chris.
And we just wanted to make sure that we got stuff out there for him and for May and for Dave.
You know, there's, of course, Dave doesn't need our help getting much out, but no, no, but you know, there's there's just good people helping good people.
And that's that's what's important.
So and we will.
Well, when we finish this, we'll attach our video to raise money for Chris.
So that way you can see it.
And if you want to go to any links or buy his art, you can do so in case you haven't seen it.
But no further ado.
So if you want to do this, you can go to the website, which is www.secretirelandtoursllc.com.
And like she said, you can click on the 2025 tours, but she does have Chris's tour up there.
Okay.
Now it still lists Chris.
So don't be looking for the Dave Schrader tab.
And underneath that, it will talk about, it'll talk about Chris, but it'll all talk about like everywhere you go, except for the secret places.
And what's involved with that.
And I think it was like a nine day tour.
Yeah, I think so.
I believe it.
And you're going to be looking for the Haunted Halloween Ireland Tour.
Right.
Okay.
With Chris Fleming from October 24th to November 2nd of 2024.
And that's coming up quick.
Yes it is.
So jump on it.
Yeah.
And you guys, again, I said it, you know, speaking with me, but gosh, to have Dave Schrader jump in that, like I'm not going to lie, being a huge baseball fan, that is literally like having Babe Ruth step up to the plate and help you out.
I mean, he's just an amazing guy.
I can't sing his praises enough.
So.
And if you, if you have any questions or if you just want to literally turn this video off and go email her, her email is MAI at Secret Ireland Tours, llc.com.
Great person to work with.
Just amazing woman.
Yeah.
You will not be disappointed.
I can't imagine, you know, everybody goes on vacation.
I can't imagine spending money and being disappointed in this tour ever.
No.
Like it's a dream come true for me.
It reminds me of like the the meme you see all the time where it's like the cent.
No, it's I forgot what character it is, but he's got a big wad full of cash in his hand.
He says, shut up and take my money.
Yeah.
Basically take all of it.
Take it all because we want to go to that too.
But guys, honestly, thank you so much for joining us.
And get out there, get those two seats taken.
If not, hey, there's there's some next year.
Yeah.
If you can't go within the month, that's very understandable.
Yeah.
We cannot as well.
No, we can't either, yeah.
But go next year.
Go to any of these.
I mean, they all sound fantastic.
Absolutely.
You're not going to be disappointed in any of them.
You may just have Generation X out there with you, too.
Maybe.
Yeah.
We'll see.
I'm striving for that.
Guys, thank you so much.
And hang on for the video about Chris.
Oh, yes.
Don't shut us off yet.
That's coming next.
But we will talk to you next week.
Everybody, Logan and Nicole here.
Hey, everyone.
Paranormal is a community like anything else.
And right now, we need to rally for somebody in our community.
And that is Chris Fleming.
And you may or may not know who he is, but if you've ever seen Haunted Ireland or Haunted Scotland and a few other ones, he's pretty well known in the community for a great many things.
He's a fantastic investigator.
He's a sensitive.
I mean, the list goes on and on, but yeah, he's certainly going through something.
So Chris has recently been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, which is a blood cancer.
He got the news that it has spread to 70 percent of his body.
So with that, he is in radiation treatment at Northwestern in Chicago, Illinois.
And with something like that, that always costs a lot of money.
It does.
And with the type of work that he does, obviously, health insurance is not fantastic, right?
Not that it's fantastic anyway, but especially in that case.
So he needs a little bit of help.
Yeah, and he he absolutely does.
And there are so many different ways you can do that.
There is a, as you can see right above us here, we've got, that's Chris there.
And we've got a couple of links here that Dave Schrader put out.
And I think that those would would be great for you to click.
I mean, that's if you want to give money.
And if you don't, you know, there's also other avenues to do.
He's got the artwork and you've seen some of his artworks.
Fantastic.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you can go to a GoFundMe page that someone has set up for him.
And he also has his Etsy page, the Chris Fleming artwork, which you can just search.
We'll make sure and put these links in the episode notes and on Facebook.
We'll also post them.
And I guess over the weekend, they had Michigan Paracon, which we were unable to attend.
However, Dave Schrader has been great.
I mean, he's been sharing this and he also helps Chris out by auctioning off some of his personal items, which broke my heart because it's stuff that he's collected over the years or stuff from his shows that he's had the auction off to help pay for his treatment.
And we understand that pain.
We've had to do the same thing for Logan's cancer.
So you can send, Venmo's easier for you, even $5.
$5 is nothing.
It's a cup of coffee.
It's not even a cup of coffee.
Sometimes you're going to Starbucks or something like that.
If you can't, go to his Facebook page.
It's Chris Fleming Official.
Just send him some positive vibes.
Yep, throw them vibes out.
Put the good vibes in the ether.
Too many times we don't.
Right now, Chris needs you to.
And we have not personally met Chris.
We do know some people that know him.
And they speak of him very, very highly.
And he's a great guy.
So, in any way, we can help him.
You know, it's why we made this video.
Right.
We're trying to get behind him.
So, donate.
Do what you can.
Send positive vibes, prayers, whatever it is, whatever your thing is.
Help him out.
Yes, yes.
Chris, we wish you well.
Send you love, prayers, everything.
We're behind you.
Just heal and get better.
That's the last thing we want is to worry about financial problems when you're trying to fight something like this.
Right.
Yeah.
You just need to focus on healing.
So we're here.
All right.
Yeah, we're here.
All right.
